Camp Juliena has two, week-long, residential programs for Deaf and Hard of Hearing campers. It was founded in 1992 as a way to bring Deaf and Hard of Hearing children together in a fully accessible environment. We allow campers to communicate in whatever mode they choose and meet them there with respect. We offer a positive camping experience for those who might otherwise be denied the opportunity to explore their own assertiveness, confidence, and independence. Campers develop social and emotional coping skills and a positive self-image. They also learn to understand, accept, and even be proud of their Deafness. Independent living skills, problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and leadership skills are also developed through our activities. Above all, Camp Juliena’s goal is to maintain a continuation and reinforcement of Deaf Culture.

Since 1982, Emagination STEM Camps has offered Day and Overnight programs where our campers explore STEM Courses including coding, game design, robotics & engineering, digital arts, and so much more!
