It is located in southeast Iowa just six miles south of Danville on 150 beautifully wooded acres. Dankwardt Lodge is climate controlled and can seat 75 diners for a meal and is a great place to socialize around the large stone fireplace. Another great feature of this camp is its all-season, Cotty Hicklin Troop House. This beautiful log structure is as perfect for family gatherings as it is for troop camping.
