ASNC Summer Camp gives campers a structured day of typical camp activities, with emphasis on there enjoyment. Low staff to camper ratios help ensure success.

We are really excited about our second annual summer camp. Chatham County JAM (Junior Appalachian Musicians) is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Goldston UMC and the Silk Hope Ruritan club. It is a Traditional Arts and Music CHAM JAM Camp, and will be held at Silk Hope Farm Heritage Park, June 16 - 20. The camp is open to ALL (from ANYWHERE) rising 3rd-8th graders.

Mornings will consist of classes taught by local musicians in the traditional instrument of the student’s choice (fiddle, mandolin, guitar, mountain dulcimer and banjo—all levels). Afternoon activities will consist of but not limited to: outdoor games, traditional arts and crafts, clogging and square dancing, storytelling, country cooking, farm education, folk singing, jug band, experiencing new instruments, student showcase, visiting performers and much more.
