Ascend Camp is an engaging and nurturing environment for children, ages 5 through 13, to spend during the summer months.

Ascend Summer Youth Camps goal is much more than providing fun activities; it is to provide a wholesome, productive, enriching, safe and healthy environment where the social, emotional, and personal development of each child is attended to. To cultivate a stimulating camp environment where each child can and will blossom into the best he or she can be. We do this by reinforcing timeless values of moral conduct, respect, integrity, responsibility and sharing. Each summer our campers embark upon a journey that develops a greater sense of self-esteem and self-confidence. When summer ends they will leave camp with new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

Ascend Camp is operated by a great staff. The leadership team and counselors are doing what they enjoy most - spending a summer inspring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expend their horizon. In addition, we take our camp programs seriously and begin our

summer with intensive staff training and orientation.

Through sport and recreation, campers will gain confidence in themselves while learning 21st century skills such as taking initiative, problem solving, and critical thinking. By attending Camp Recky your child will have the opportunity to be their true camp self! In a safe and inclusive environment, our campers will have the opportunity to make friends and form positive bonds at camp that will last a lifetime.

Gahanna Parks and Recreation offers five camp programs, including our ACA accredited Camp Friendship - Traditional summer day camp program in Gahanna, Ohio, for youth ages 5-12. For many children, Camp Friendship is their first exposure to camping. Caring, dedicated staff serve as positive role models and strive to create a summer of learning and active participation for all campers while emphasizing healthy life choices and the importance of community. From morning circle, to all camp activities, pool day, and exciting field trips, Camp Friendship is more than just a day camp – it’s the perfect outlet for kids to be kids while developing the resiliency to successfully navigate the world around them. Not only do we provide the opportunity and support for children to grow and develop as individuals, we create lifelong memories, lasting relationships, and foster a competent and confident citizenry.

Dublin Recreation Services offers two ACA accredited summer day camp programs for children ages 5-12 - Wyandot Camp & Camp Kaltenbach. We also offer several one week specialty day camps, teen camps, and half-day camps: My First Camp for children ages 3-5 and Playground Adventure for children ages 6-8. All camps are traditional summer day camp programs that focus on: the creative arts; health, wellness & physical activities; and nature & science exploration. Campers are also exposed to volunteer opportunities, guest speakers, swimming and field trips. Campers with accommodations must complete an inquiry of needs before registering.

Game Camp Nation

This summer, harness your child’s passion for video games to fuel their future, strengthen self-confidence and forge new friendships! At Game Camp Nation, students ages 7-17 can learn to design video games, code, mod Minecraft, engineer music and sound effects, model 3D characters, and more!

GCS Sports Camp is a fun and exciting way for a student to participate in team-building activities, team competition and friendship in a Christ-centered environment. Sports Camp also swims daily at a local pool and has an optional after care program from 3-5pm.

Program located on a beautiful 65 acre site with plenty of fun for all ages and a focus on the YMCA core values.

The Bexley Rec. Dept. summer camp provides a superb seasoned staff & enriching experience. Our goal is to provide a family atmosphere conductive to selfgrowth.

We are excited to welcome you into our summer camp family! Letting Kids Succeed (LKS) offers a Christian setting where children have the opportunity to grow spiritually, academically, emotionally and socially during the summer months! LKS promotes a Christian centered educational experience for children ages 5-15; in conjunction with various extracurricular activities that promote self-esteem and self-confidence. This years summer camp theme is FAITH!

OMK offers a variety of camping options for any child of a military service member, regardless of branch. Camping options come in a wide range of types for every age and interest group and are held throughout the state at various facilities. Traditional camping experiences are mixed with programming to help you and families cope with the stresses of deployment and military culture. All camps are low cost and high fun!

Day Camp is held Monday through Friday and provides kids ages 5-12 supervised activities that foster youth development. We allow for physical involvement, social interaction, educational opportunities, leadership building, personal growth and creativity in everything we do. The Y’s core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility are emphasized throughout activities, conversations and ceremonies.

Summer just wouldn’t be the same without the excitement and adventure of the YMCA Day Camp program. For nearly 30 years, central Ohio children have come together for a summer full of nature, water fun, games, cookouts, arts & crafts, and new friendships! In 2012, the spirit and tradition of YMCA Day Camp continues! Traditional themes, sports themes and a mix of the two available including TeenXtreme camps.

The summer of 2012 promises to be bigger and better than ever!
