Camp Nor'wester provides a unique outdoor living experience where a diverse group of young people is challenged to develop skills that increase self-confidence and encourage respect, responsibility and compassion for themselves, their community and the environment.

We serve campers of all genders ages 9-16, and hire up to 100 staff from around the world to support our summer community. We value inclusion, personal growth, and contribution to community for all involved in our summer programming.

We are located in a beautiful maritime archipelago of 743 islands (428 at high tide!) in the northwest corner of Washington State (USA). Of these, 60 islands are inhabited and four (Lopez, Shaw, Orcas, and San Juan) are served by Washington State Ferries, sailing from Anacortes, Washington. All of the ferry-served islands have shoreline County parks and/or campgrounds maintained by the San Juan County Parks and Recreation Department.

Come enjoy our islands and visit any of our seventeen parks located on San Juan, Lopez, Orcas and Shaw Island. Camp in one of our 3 overnight park accommodations on San Juan, Lopez or Shaw Island.
