Horizons provides residential, recreational programs for children adults with developmental disabilities. For over 30 years Horizons has provided outstanding, well trained staff who utilize Positive Programming to support their campers in EXCITING programs. Weekends are based upon a theme and include a variety of daily activities.

Mystic Aquarium’s week-long summer camps, running mid-June through August 2023, are specially designed for young explorers and budding marine biologists looking for a glimpse into the fascinating realm of the marine world. Most camp options are offered daily Monday through Friday with our youngest learners and caregivers, grades PreK-K, running half-day from 9:00am-12:00pm while our older campers, Grades 1-10, will participate in a full day, 9:00am-4:00pm, of fun. Throughout all of our summer camps, Aquarium Educators, Animal Care Specialists and even the animals themselves guide the campers through exciting hands-on, interactive explorations of the marine world that will inspire participants to become ocean stewards. These explorations may include behind-the-scenes tours, field studies in nearby ecosystems, investigating deep sea discoveries, and so much more!
